Dieting Week One: FAILED

So, I have to admit, I have done nothing to help myself lose weight since this post. Today I felt like poo and then I opened my email to find this horoscope from Yahoo.
Now is a really good time for a checkup -- or just to review your healthy habits. Your energy is best spent on getting yourself into shape and keeping yourself there, so make a plan and stick to it!
I don’t really believe in the whole astrology thing, but I think someone was trying to tell me that this is not adequate nourishment for someone who is trying to lose weight.

It seems like as soon as I said “I am going to lose weight” I started having cravings for enchiladas and snickers.
Oh why can’t this be easy!?!  So, it says make a plan…well that is where I should start with a plan. Hmmm…Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Slimfast, Calorie Counting…where oh where should I begin?
I think the key is planning out menus…cooking more and eating out less. So, I will start there. My goal is to plan out next week and try as much as possible to eat very little processed foods.
That and exercise. I need to find opportunities for JAG, Shelby and I to have fun and be active.
So here is to another week!
