WIWW, but First

A very important message about bullying that I want you to see read and understand. This message was posted by one of my oldest friends on facebook. She allowed me to post it here for you all to see.

Here is what she said:

I would like everyone to take a moment out of your day to look at a picture of my 6 year old(Kindergarten student) son. This is what he looked like when I picked him up early from school yesterday, after being brutally attacked by TWO of his peers. Other 5 and 6 year olds did this to him! They lured him over at recess, and one held him while the other repeatedly punched and kicked him in his face. The scratches on his forehead are the imprint of a snow boot tread. Bullying is REAL. It is an epidemic. This is not a high school student, or college student...This is my baby. A KINDERGARTEN student. Someone you know. We are our children's voice. If your child, or any child comes to you and tells you that someone is picking on them...stop what you are doing and speak up for them. I pray that no one else will ever have to pick their child up from school and have to look into their eyes and see this pain.

I could not believe this when I saw – I believed it – I just couldn’t believe this could happen. That this terrible thing could happen so young as my friend said this isn’t high school – this is half day Kindergarten.

These are the outfits that should have posted last week, but I was too much in project mode.

  1. I always love seeing what people are wearing!

Yay for reading through the Message Bible in a year!!!!!!!

  2. Well look at all your fancy pictures with writing and arrows. So cute...and so are you!!

  3. That just breaks my heart about your friend's little boy. I'm a teacher and I can't stand bullying or cruel behavior. It's just not acceptable at all. I guess I'll lighten it up a bit and say that your outfits are really cute. Love those Converse sneakers.

  4. I feel your friend’s pain!! Been there with my daughter when she was in 1st grade she is now in 5th. Bullying is real and it happening when they are younger. Everyone wants to look the other because they are babies but kids are getting meaner and meaner, sad but true!!! Love your earrings on a happier note!
