Flashback Friday: I was born in the Wrong Era.

I should have been born at the same time as these fine people. I don’t think my Meme and I would be friend though – I am a little wild for her taste – at least I think…she could have been hiding something. Hmmm…

From Right to Left and order of Age:

My great uncle W.G. or as my cousin called him “Double G”
My favorite great aunt Aileen “Nene” – the one who said to use a red comb to keep my hair red.
My kind of crazy great aunt Madelle.
My great uncle Johnny. Oh the memories of him – he had an awesome wife who was always put together and he used to give me golf balls.
And last, but never least My Meme!

Aren’t they cute! There were originally 7. There was a set of twins that died shortly after being born. Some day I will have to tell you about my Great Grandfather he had 21 children by 3 wives- not all at the same time they all passed. My Grandma Hankins was his last wife before he passed a few days after my Meme was born.

  4. I'm so glad you get it, about the comments. Its so overwhelming, right? I have so much more time now! And way less guilt :) It makes me happy to know that a few people understand though.

Also, I would have LOVED to live back then. Although, with all of my ridiculous food allergies, I'm not so sure I would have lasted that long. But women back then were so gorgeous. Not overdone and over processed the way they are today.

That photo is the best. THE, BEST.
