Come on you remember Truvy (Dolly Parton) I love that character. There are so many wonderful quotes from the movie Steel Magnolias, but this one I so needed on Wednesday.
Do you smile? I know some people who smile all the time and I mean all the time. Then I have known some people who never smile…ever.
And why not smile? I have to say that my family sports some pretty awesome smiles.

A smile is so powerful. Mark Stibich, Ph.D wrote an article on the Top 10 Reasons to Smile. He said, “Smiling is a great way to make yourself stand out while helping your body function better”.
Here are his reasons to smile:
1. Smiling Makes Us Attractive
We are drawn to people who smile. There is an attraction factor. We want to know a smiling person and figure out what is so good. Frowns, scowls and grimaces all push people away -- but a smile draws them in.

Next time you are feeling down, try putting on a smile. There's a good chance you mood will change for the better. Smiling can trick the body into helping you change your mood.
